A Picture Is Worth. . . . . . . ?

I found this picture so compelling it literally demanded a place on Father Time's blog. Personal interpretations are encouraged and welcomed.

(I see a pictorial definition of the word "irony.")

I see David in the foreground and Goliath in the background; only in this situation, Goliath allegedly won't fight back.

Also, why is there an umbrella over the Buddha's breast?

Anonymous: I like your interpretation - wish more people did.

Fly: Good one too. BTW, that's not an umbrella - it's the end of a scarf that's over his shoulder. (I think)

Cool photo; open to much interpretation! BTW, your sidebar links are finally aligned correctly, in my browser, at least. :)

Ms. Apple: Thank you on both counts. Any interpretations to share?

This picture makes me think of my car back some years during Desert Storm. My son was over there in the Marines. My bumper stickers read 1) I am the proud parent of a Marine and 2) Visualize World Peace. I was a mixed message driving down the road!
